A'riette LXIII

"That was a very droll light show." Grathan said, obviously annoyed that Asis was fooling around in his laboratory. "But my droids could have killed you already. Would you like to see?" Asis sent a decietful smile at Granthan and nodded.
"If that would amuse you." She said softly while issuing a mock bow to the Sith Lord. Grathan remained stone faced and sent out an electronic whistle. Distant thuds were heard while three guardian droids entered, each armed with large blasters and vibroblades strapped to their backs.
"Grathan," Asis began, unamused. "I just proved that Mary couldn't take me, in her current setting. What makes you think they could?"
Grathan laughed softly and pressed a button on his wrist. Immediately the droids stepped forward and took their stance.
"Because these are my droids and not one Sith who has come to steal from me has survived them."

"A Krayt took down a Womp Rat, though that isn't new." A'riette said, taking her helmet off. "My radar never reported anything unusual."
"Good," F'rais said, stepping out of the tent and quickly dissasembling it. "Then the Raiders got a good enough licking yesterday."
"Maybe. But until we hear back from the Clan we won't know. What the hell is taking them so damned long?" Kasat said.
"Don't know, but we won't get anywhere sitting on our asses." A'riette said, getting up and seconds later mounting a bike. The other two cast glances at each other and put their helmets back on, then mounted up and followed A'riette into the Canyons. The massive orange walls surrounded them, each Mandalorian kept their radars on every moment and knew to brake if anything suspicious came up. 

Asis stood relaxed before the Guardian Droids, each one was no doubt scanning her. The three machines moved swiftly forward and shot flame at her, which she easily dodged by throwing herself down and rolling away. Once back on her feet, Asis leapt over their heads and stood on one Droid's shoulders, then flashed her blade into its processor. The Droid groaned and fell to its knees, then slammed onto its face while the others fired upon each other and fell in smoldering heaps.
"Really, Grathan. All that show and naught--" Asis was cut short by a blow powerful enough to send her flying backward. Quickly recovering, she crouched and stood at the ready. Attuning her senses, Lord Asis tried to figure out what had attacked her and was struck again, this time sent into a sidelong flip and landed hard on her back. Growling, she got to her feet once more and waited. The sound of air passing came by her ear and out of pure reflex she ignited her blade. The flash of light came and with it a disembodied arm, the droid's cloaking device sparked and revealed the rest. The droid looked surprised, then threw punches. Asis frowned and grabbed the droid, then flashed her blade again and sliced each limb off contempt to leave the droid crippled. Another whoosh was heard and Asis flashed her blade horizontally, this time a blinding object scraped against the floor in two parts. For a third time it came and Asis didn't bother to ignite her blade, this time she waited to hear the air and used the Force to hold the cloaked droid in place, then reached in and began melting circuits until the droid was left in a crumpled mess.
